Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
