We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary options.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and basic math skills for order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
