Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Assist with laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Coordinate case management activities to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate discharge planning.
- Provide specialized care for specific populations such as pediatrics, seniors, or patients requiring dementia or pain management.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication use, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control standards.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in hospital settings, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care environments.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, pain management, and case management principles.
- Experience working with pediatric or senior populations; familiarity with dementia care is a plus.
- Skills in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, and medical office operations preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with compassionate communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations within acute care or hospital environments.
