Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual who specializes in Breakfast style food service to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn and grow within the food industry.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before they are served to customers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and meal preparation techniques is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving kitchen procedures
