Job Overview
This is a per contract position, rates are based on the type and size of deck, product material (wood/composite), detail of installation and add-ons (steps, railing, lighting, planter boxes, etc.) Seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including framing, deck and fence building and required finishing work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set to deliver high-quality results. You will be responsible for executing detailed tasks that require precision and technical knowledge. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints/construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Operate power tools, hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks necessary for project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Ability to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements
- Must have own reliable vehicle and tools.
- Proven experience in roles relating to the deck and fence building industry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and execution of the plan.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment.
- Experience working with composite deck materials /railing and lighting installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
