Duties
- Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned in a timely manner while tracking per FSQA program
- Repair and capture detailed root cause and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers.
- Ensures effective and timely on-floor support to the production department members, including regular, off-shift and weekend coverage as required.
- Works with the production team and equipment vendors to implement permanent solutions for equipment and process problems
- Support the effort to develop and document maintenance procedures, one point lesson and implement a competency-based training program.
- Works as a team member on small and large technical projects.
- Equipment (Production) – helps production setup the equipment on the line and troubleshoot/repair equipment during shift.
- Performs additional work as required.
Requirements
- 2-3 years maintenance experience is required (plant, warehouse, manufacturing environment)
- Graduate of a technical school or college; Mechanical/Electrical preferred
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and mechanical tools.
- Electromechanical competency is an asset (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.).
- Ability to read manuals and blueprints and find parts.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Fast learner and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have basic know-how of computer literacy.
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
