Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Campground Attendant to join our team and help maintain a welcoming and well-kept outdoor environment for our visitors. This role involves assisting with landscape maintenance, general upkeep, and ensuring the campground remains safe, clean, and enjoyable for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, horticulture, and maintaining natural spaces, with a focus on providing excellent service in a scenic setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening to enhance the campground’s aesthetic appeal
- Use hand tools, power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as repairing fences, cleaning common areas, and ensuring facilities are in good condition
- Maintain cleanliness of campground facilities including pathways, picnic areas, and restrooms
- Monitor outdoor spaces regularly to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting campers with questions or concerns related to the campground environment
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including bending, lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork skills are highly valued
Pay: $17.00 per hour
