Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various concrete-related projects, including formwork, finishing, and restoration tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Experience with heavy equipment operation, masonry, and blueprint reading is highly valued. The Concrete Laborer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality concrete structures and ensuring safety standards are met on every project site.
Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to create durable structures
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform masonry work including restoration and renovation of existing concrete surfaces
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Conduct caulking, flooring installation, and other related tasks as needed
- Support with concrete curing, sealing, and surface preparation for optimal results
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor required for construction projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry tools
- Knowledge of restoration techniques, flooring installation, caulking, and renovation processes
- Strong physical stamina capable of performing heavy lifting and working in demanding conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Prior experience with blueprint reading and schematics is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work safely around construction sites while maintaining high-quality standards
