Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized professional to join our team in a part-time Education and Events Coordinator role based in our Westshore office. This position is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys bringing people together. The role combines light office administration duties with the planning and execution of educational programming and brokerage events that support and engage our real estate agents.
Key Responsibilities
Event and Training Coordination
Education
- Coordinating and sourcing speakers for weekly office meetings & classes
- Research, source and assist in creating modularized training courses for real estate agents on a variety of topics.
- Research, source and assist in planning content for company podcasts
- Research and creation of various documents, help articles, and class materials
- Organize educational events & seminars for new agents & experienced agents in collaboration with senior management.
Events:
- Plan and execute brokerage events, including but not limited to golf tournaments, educational workshops, holiday parties, and awards events (approximately 5 to 6 major events annually). Duties include:
- Securing event sponsors, coordinating venues, catering, and event logistics.
- Maintaining and tracking event budgets.
- Distribution and promotion of marketing materials for these events.
- Organize smaller culture building events such as appetizer nights, baseball events, team events (baseball, TC10k, etc. )
Office Administration and Support
- Maintain consistent office hours as the primary presence in the Westshore location
- Provide a welcoming and professional environment for agents, clients, and visitors
- Receive deposit cheques, prepare and complete bank deposits
- Prepare and print marketing materials such as window cards
- Ensure the office is always well-presented, including light tidying and organization
- Monitor and replenish office supplies
Qualifications and Attributes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and consistent in maintaining office presence and responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with others
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Experience with event planning or coordination is an asset
- Experience in the real estate industry is considered an asset
- Proactive and able to take direction while working independently
- Positive and professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset
