Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Framer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various building projects, including residential and commercial structures, with a focus on framing, concrete forming, and general labour tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing, carpentry, construction, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming (ICF) finishing, and related activities on-site
- Operate power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform carpentry duties including siding installation, wood framing, and other structural work
- Use hand tools for cutting, measuring, assembling, and installing materials
- Assist with restoration projects as needed, ensuring proper procedures are followed
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support construction activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction/framing is required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and woodworking techniques
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing is a plus
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is desirable but not required
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Commitment to safety protocols and teamwork-oriented attitude
- Must have own transportation to job site
- Preferably from local area
Pay: $19.72-$30.00 per hour
