Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as needed
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent cross-contamination and spoilage
- Support inventory management by notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Qualifications
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations within the food industry preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
- Prior restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
