Position Overview
The After-Hours Clinical Manager (AHM) ensures on-site presence on weekdays until at least 22:00 and on weekends until 20:00.
The after-hours manager is On-call from 22:00 to next morning at 8:00 am.
The AHM is responsible for addressing all issues that arise. Responsibilities of the AHM include the oversight of all clinical areas, the coordination of patient flow, providing support to staff, patients, and visitors, and coordinating nursing staff. The AHM also
responds to unexpected or unpredictable issues/situations that may arise.
After-Hours Manager (AHM) may be involved in:
Providing information, advice, and guidance to staff regarding any clinical issues regarding procedures, interventions that staff need assistance with.
Giving oversight, guidance, and authorization regarding the need for additional staffing or resources when the need arises unexpectedly.
Providing advice and guidance regarding health and safety issues.
Receiving information regarding issues reportable in RIMS. When receiving such information, it is the responsibility of the AHM to ensure that staff have followed the appropriate procedures and taken appropriate action and that relevant staff in the department have been notified.
Assisting in decision making in emergency situations. This includes liaison with Admin On-call, where appropriate.

What we are looking for
REQUIREMENTS:
RN (CNO license)
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience of working in a variety of clinical settings (medicine, emergency, etc.)
Possess knowledge of both official languages.
