Group NB, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the transportation, logistics and supply chain industries, has operated across Canada since 2007. We are currently seeking a full-time General Labourer who will be based in Hannon, ON.
CONDITIONS
- HAMILTON PLANT ADDRESS: 22 Ambitious Court, Hannon, Ontario L0R 1P0
- WORK SCHEDULES: Monday-Friday, Morning Shift (7:00 AM-3:00 PM), Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM-11:00 PM), and Night Shift starts Sunday-Thursday (11:00 PM-7:00 AM)
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, physically demanding, and safety-focused industrial setting
- PAY RATES: $20.45 (morning), $21.25 + shift incentives and premiums (afternoon), $21.55 (evening)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Use jigs to organize multiple small or large components for efficient dipping into the zinc bath.
- Rack and un-rack parts on lifting devices using hooks, wires, and chains.
- Apply proper rigging techniques to prepare products for galvanizing.
- Work in hot temperatures in ensuring proper zinc coating adhesion and durability.
- Fulfill any other duties as specified by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to lift 60 to 80 lbs. unassisted
- Steel-toe boots in good condition are required
- Comfortable working in hot, and physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours as overtime may be required
- Ability to work and operate in a safe manner in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
