Duties
- Conduct thorough access control by verifying credentials and managing entry points for event attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors
- Monitor event premises using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or potential security threats
- Perform regular patrols of the venue to ensure safety protocols are followed and to deter theft or vandalism
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing crowd behavior and preventing unauthorized access or disruptive conduct
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to document all security activities and incidents
- Enforce venue policies and safety regulations with professionalism while providing excellent customer service to guests
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields demonstrating strong observational skills and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and monitoring systems
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods to identify theft or misconduct effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and remain alert throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with diverse audiences
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and confidently while maintaining professionalism
- Certification in security procedures or relevant training preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary licenses as required by local regulations
