Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design. This role involves creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. The Florist will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and inspiring customers with their floral selections.
Responsibilities
- Designing and arranging fresh flowers and plants to meet customer specifications and seasonal trends
- Assisting customers with selecting flowers, plants, and related products to fulfill their needs
- Operating POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies and merchandising floral products attractively
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the floral display area and store environment
- Supporting e-commerce sales by updating online product listings and processing online orders
- Ensuring excellent customer service through effective communication skills and professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floral design is required.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, and cashiering is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude
