Our aerospace client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to support final assembly, modifications, and maintenance of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. This is a hands-on role based in the hangar, working closely with engineering, quality, and flight operations to safely return aircraft to service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and modify aircraft systems, components, and structures using approved data
- Perform inspections, system checks, troubleshooting, and defect rectification
- Support ground runs, test flights, and return-to-service activities
- Prepare aircraft for maintenance by ensuring parts, tooling, and documentation are ready
- Maintain clean, safe, and FOD-free work areas and support aircraft ground handling
- Lead tasks as required and mentor junior technicians
- Complete accurate maintenance, test, and inspection documentation
- Participate in training, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Aircraft Maintenance training program
- Valid AME license (Canadian or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience in an MRO, operator, or OEM environment
- Rotary-wing or specialized aircraft experience is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting, safety awareness, and technical documentation skills
- Eligible to work with regulated aviation goods
