Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial work, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, but a passion for cleanliness and service is most important. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere to industrial cleaning procedures when necessary for larger-scale or specialized cleaning tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Nice-to-have: hotel experience or experience in industrial cleaning environments
