Part-Time Grounds Keeper / Property Maintenance
Century 21 Border Real Estate Service is looking for a reliable and motivated Grounds Keeper / Property Maintenance Worker to assist with maintaining the properties we manage.
This is a flexible part-time position that can lead to ongoing year-round work. Duties will vary depending on the season and property needs, including summer lawn care, general property upkeep, and winter snow removal.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and can work independently to help keep our properties clean, safe, and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, trimming, and general landscaping
- Yard maintenance, weed control, and seasonal cleanup
- Snow shoveling and snow removal
- Salting sidewalks and walkways
- Removing debris, leaves, and garbage from properties
- Operating and maintaining lawn care and snow removal equipment safely
- Assisting with minor maintenance, repairs, and odd jobs as needed
- Helping maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of managed properties
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Able to work independently and reliably
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with landscaping, lawn care, or property maintenance considered an asset
- Experience operating lawnmowers, trimmers, snow blowers, and hand tools preferred
- Basic handyman skills are an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Criminal record check required due to access to private properties
