Job Summary
Hillside Medical Centre is looking for a casual MOA doing > 50% FTE worth of hours after the 3 month probationary period. Exact start date is NYD but we are collecting resumes in anticipation of filling the position in the coming 2-3 months. The position will start as casual with potential to move into regular, part-time or full time hours in late fall. Ultimately, we are looking for a team-player and a creative-thinker who thrives in the setting of helping patients access care. Being able to multi-task and maintain an empathetic approach to patients in a busy service environment are key qualities. The successful applicant will possess exceptional communication skills, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Duties (including but not limited to)
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient flow.
Requirements
- MOA training is helpful but not necessary.
- Experience in para-medical administration is helpful but not necessary.
- Experience in customer service, data management and secretarial roles are considered valuable.
Starting wage is dependent on relevant experience. 2 weeks paid holidays and benefits are available once MOA has successfully completed a probationary period. Interested applicants can drop off resumes at Hillside Medical Centre and/or apply directly on Indeed.
