We are seeking a reliable, high-performing Team Lead Vac Truck Operator to join our growing team. This role goes beyond driving — you will lead job sites, supervise a helper, and represent our company professionally while delivering top-quality service.
You will operate a low-profile F550 Vac Truck and trailer-mounted Jetter system, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Equipment Operation
- Safely operate a vac truck and high-pressure trailer jetter system
- Perform hydro-excavation and sewer jetting tasks as required
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support a helper on-site
- Delegate tasks and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Enforce all safety procedures and company standards
Customer Service
- Act as the main point of contact on job sites
- Communicate clearly with clients and service managers regarding progress
Compliance & Documentation
- Complete and maintain accurate:
- Driver’s Daily Logs
- Work Orders
- Manifests
- Confined space permits (digital and manual)
General Labour
- Perform physical work including use of power tools and high-pressure equipment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements Mandatory
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 year of vac truck or hydro-excavation experience
- Strong work ethic and reliability (punctual and consistent attendance)
Assets
- Class A or AR License
- Experience with sewer jetting
- Knowledge of safety regulations and manifest documentation
Schedule
- Full-time hours
- Overtime may be required
- Weekend availability as needed
