We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Perform various hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling based on client preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and offering professional advice
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Experience
- Previous experience in hair styling or cosmetology is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Customer service experience demonstrating the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty industry
- Retail sales experience is a plus, especially in upselling products or services
- Experience working at the front desk or handling administrative tasks is advantageous
