We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Process sales efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions or new items to increase sales
- Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support when applicable
- Manage merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive phone etiquette
- Maintain accurate cash register balances and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, security, and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, and basic math enhances effectiveness in the role
- Strong communication skills, time management, organizational skills, and professional phone etiquette are essential for success
- Experience in technology sales or product demos can be advantageous for promoting specific items or services
