ROLE OVERVIEW
The Content & Community Manager will report directly to the owner, and will be responsible for content creation and social media management and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Content Creation: Produce, shoot, and edit engaging multimedia content (images, videos, etc.) tailored for various social media platforms.
· Active Participation: Serve as an on-camera personality when necessary to create authentic and relatable content and engage staff.
· Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
· Community Management: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely and professional manner.
· Content Scheduling: Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns.
· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics; prepare regular reports to inform strategy adjustments.
· Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep our social media presence innovative and effective.
· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and the successful execution of campaigns.
· Social Listening: Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, identify opportunities, and address potential issues proactively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as cameras, microphones, lighting and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva). etc.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Brandwatch) is a plus.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
