Insight Solutions is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Child and Youth Workers to provide relief coverage for residential youth programs in the GTA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting youth in a residential setting and enjoy flexible, on-call work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and support to youth in a residential setting
- Build positive, therapeutic relationships
- Respond to crisis situations using trauma-informed and de-escalation approaches
- Complete documentation and shift reports
- Support daily routines, life skills, and recreational activities
- Work collaboratively with residential staff
Requirements:
- Child and Youth Worker diploma or related post-secondary education (or equivalent experience)
- Current CPI certification (required)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Broad Record Check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
