Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced ABA Therapist to support children with developmental, behavioural, and learning needs. In this role, you will work closely with neurodiverse children to implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a strong understanding of child development and mental health, and excellent communication skills to foster positive growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
- Support children in developing communication, social, behavioural, and daily living skills through structured and engaging activities.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on child progress and behaviour during therapy sessions.
- Monitor behavioural changes and adjust intervention strategies as directed by supervisory staff.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment approaches.
- Lead and provide guidance to junior therapist(s) as required.
- Facilitate and support children in both one-to-one and small group settings.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes learning, growth, and well-being.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills when managing challenging situations and escalate concerns to the Director as appropriate.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with neurodiverse children in educational, clinical, therapeutic, or community settings.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and behavioural intervention techniques.
- Understanding of child development and children's mental health, particularly as it relates to supporting neurodivergent children.
- Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and analysis to effectively monitor and evaluate client progress.
- Experience working with children in small group settings is considered an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
