Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Manage guest orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively to meet service deadlines during peak hours
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is desirable
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory
