Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering incoming customer phone and e-mail inquiries and will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide our customers with timely and accurate responses. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills. This is an entry level position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and keypunch customer telephone and fax orders into the computer.
- Assist with the processing of orders received via the “Automatic Order” system.
- Keying of distributions.
- Support to all internal customers as required.
- Photocopy, fax and mail copies of invoices for specific needs of customers.
- Process authorized credits in accordance with policy.
- Respond and follow-up to any customer concerns with all parties involved.
- Process & monitor all produce reviews, breakdowns, bread program, Telxon & price gun exchange.
- Cross-training with other personnel as required.
- Assist with department progress and streamlining.
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned or required as are consistent with the nature and scope of the position.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer service role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written.
- Excellent telephone skills and manners.
- Strong keyboard skills and proficiency with ten key calculators.

Other Requirements:
- Ability to work shifts including weekdays and/or weekends and holidays
