Overview
We are seeking a skilled Reefer Mechanic to join our team . This role is essential for maintaining and repairing refrigerated trailers The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision maintenance and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on reefer units and refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in refrigerated containers
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience, preferably with reefer units or refrigeration equipment
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
