Septic Truck Driver
K & K Sanitation is searching for a new recruitment to join our team. We are interested in an individual who has the ability to work independently, in a timely manner, all while effectively completing the task at hand. We encourage our drivers to ensure their safety while in the yard, on the road and at customer site locations. Please note that this role is extremely time consuming and physically demanding.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable DZ Licensed Driver to join our team to take on the role of a Septic Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently transporting waste from sites to disposal site locations in the designated areas. We expect that you will be working in compliance to our companies polices, safety regulations and Industry standards. To obtain this role within our company we will need proof of your DZ Driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
· Driving Large Vacuum Trucks to transport waste to disposal sites.
· Excellent time management.
· Documenting/recording required information on the forms provided by office staff.
· Must have the ability to lift 50lbs or more.
· Quick learning skills

Qualifications/Experience:
- Possession and proof of a valid DZ License.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with operating heavy vacuum trucks and pumping septic tanks to transport the waste to the disposal site.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Skills/Requirements:
- DZ Drivers License: A provincially recognized DZ Drivers License is mandatory.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills is an asset.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with customers, office staff, and employer is a mandatory requirement
- Physical Stamina: The job can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
- Teamwork: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary for accurate diagnosis and repair to ensure your safety.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety protocols, Personal Protective Equipment and procedures is essential.
