Summary
Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Commercial Officer provides Tributary with market relations strategies. These strategies include, securing insurance company contacts and agreements, negotiating delegated underwriting authority agreements, building and maintaining relationships with partners. Supporting and influencing Tributary client value propositions, representing Tributary’s digital and online trading capabilities while collaborating with the leadership team to optimize processes and workflow.
Responsibilities - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with a designation that would be an asset – FCIP or CIP.
- CRM experience required
- Commercial insurance experience
- Public sector experience
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Insurance underwriting and/or placement experience
- Experience working across domestic and international markets (London specific)
- Negotiating insurer contracts
- Delegate underwriting authority agreements
- High level of technical insurance ability
- Presentation skills for small- and large-scale audiences
- High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Power BI is an asset
