*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that our facilities are well-kept at all times. Able to lift 30lbs. Works well alone and as a team.
Responsibilities
- Office cleaning.
- Perform routine daily cleaning and occasional deep cleaning tasks
- Follow checklists and safety protocols
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely
- Report completed tasks and any issues to supervisor
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as paper products and soap
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
Qualifications
- Cleaning experience preferred (residential or commercial)
- Must have valid drivers license
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
- Physically able to lift 20–30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable transportation to Whitby / Durham Region job sites
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- WHMIS certification an asset (training available)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
