Why This Role Matters
The New Business Administrator is responsible for setting up new client accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. This role sits at the heart of the client onboarding experience, ensuring new business is processed accurately and efficiently from day one.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Calgary, AB office, working a combination of days in office and from home.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Sets up accounts for new clients in WEBS and CRM and processes new account information within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Reviews submitted new business paperwork to ensure it is complete and ready for processing
- Identifies errors or omissions on enrollment information and works with the Client Service Coordinator as needed for correction
- Completes plan design set up on claims payment systems
- Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of business processes
- Other duties as the organization requires
What You Bring to the Table
- Completion of post-secondary education is an asset
- Experience in the group benefits industry is an asset but not a requirement
- Strong keyboarding skills with number-pad familiarity and a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm with minimal errors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong command of the English language, both written and oral

Compensation
At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $45,000 - $50,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
