Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Controller to join our team. As a Traffic Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow in construction zones.
Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists
- Set up and maintain work zones according to safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and drivers
- Manage traffic flow during road construction or maintenance projects
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
- Operate necessary equipment for traffic control purposes
Experience:
- Experience in traffic control or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of building, paving, or heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
