Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team in a dynamic warehouse and construction environment. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in heavy equipment operation, warehouse management, and logistics. Ideal candidates will have prior warehouse experience or construction background, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. The position involves physically demanding tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Duties
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Perform order picking and shipping & receiving operations efficiently and accurately
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment following safety guidelines
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, ensuring timely movement of goods within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe working environment
- Support construction-related activities as needed, including material handling and site preparation
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and material handling
Skills
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems for order processing and inventory control
- Experience with order picker operations and load & unload procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
