Adored Pet Services is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated animal lover to join our team as a Full‑Time On‑Leash Pet Services Team Member. About the Role
This position focuses on private, on‑leash dog walks in clients’ neighbourhoods, along with in‑home pet visits and basic pet‑care duties. You’ll support our clients by providing safe, attentive, and professional care while representing the warm, trusted service Adored Pet Services is known for.
What You’ll Do
- Provide one‑on‑one on‑leash dog walks in assigned neighbourhoods
- Complete pet visits including feedings, fresh water, litter care, medication (non‑injectable), and companionship
- Communicate clearly with clients and the care team through our scheduling system
- Ensure pets are handled safely, kindly, and with positive reinforcement
- Maintain reliability and professionalism while working independently
- Support occasional weekend or holiday visits as needed
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for animals and comfort handling dogs of all sizes
- Must be confident and comfortable handling large dogs, including those who may display reactive behaviours.
- Strong communication and time‑management skills
- Reliability, our clients trust us with their pets and their homes
- Ability to walk multiple hours per day in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 18 years or older
