Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kebab chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive food preparation and cooking skills, and a deep understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, maintaining consistency and quality
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety protocols
- Serve as a key point of contact for restaurant management regarding culinary operations
- Ensure timely delivery of meals while upholding high standards of presentation and taste
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive food preparation and cooking expertise across diverse cuisines
- Strong background in food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a hospitality environment
- Previous restaurant management or kitchen leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, customer service excellence, and hospitality principles
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and serving guests effectively
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
