The Watson is in search of an experienced line cook to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new opening of a restaurant and to be involved in the project moving forward. The Watson ia a cocktail-driven venue with a focus on quality food and drinks, a vibrant atmosphere and attention to detail when it comes to service. We are an independent, growing company and looking for passionate, charismatic people to be a part of opening an exciting new project.
We are looking for a flexible individual who would be interested in working at our restaurant location. The shifts we are looking to hire for will be evening shifts (with potential for some days). The candidate will have to be available to work evenings as late as 1am.
For this part-time position, flexibility and availability are important. This means being available for evenings and weekends. Closing will be a part of the duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up and being responsible for a section under direction.
- Working with Chef and Sous Chef to maintain regular prep-lists.
- Working to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain the sanitation of the kitchen, including the area you are working and the mise-en-place you are preparing.
- Handle and store all produce in a safe and organized manner. Rotation and labelling.
- Following cleaning schedules and maintaining general cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Being prepared to help with dishes, and other tasks related to support work.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
