Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Form Setter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete forming Minimum 3 years. This role involves constructing and installing forms for concrete structures, ensuring precision and safety on all projects. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of masonry, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques, contributing to high-quality building outcomes.
Duties
- Construct and install formwork for concrete structures using hand tools, power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate form placement
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to project specifications
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and surface preparation to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations during construction activities
Skills
- Proficiency in rebar installation, masonry, and concrete forming techniques
- Experience with carpentry, including framing and structural adjustments
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading
- Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation for precise form setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members on complex projects
