Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with 4+ years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's systems, networks, and data by implementing security controls, monitoring threats, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with security technologies, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and security incidents.
- Implement and maintain security controls to protect networks, systems, and applications.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Manage and monitor firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Investigate security alerts and perform incident response activities.
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform security audits and support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud security concepts.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and HTTPS.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
