Part-Time Cashier / Fruit Prep Assistant – Tsawwassen Mills
We are hiring a Part-Time Cashier / Fruit Prep Assistant for our fruit and snack shop at Tsawwassen Mills. We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates with previous experience in food preparation, cashier work, or customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cut fresh fruits safely and neatly
- Make fruit cups, fruit snacks, and related menu items
- Assist with simple food preparation and product display
- Operate the cash register and handle customer payments
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Keep the work area, counter, equipment, and store clean and organized
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock fruits, packaging, sauces, and supplies as needed
- Help with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, fruit cutting, kitchen work, bubble tea, café, restaurant, grocery, or retail is preferred
- Basic knife skills and ability to handle fresh fruits safely
- Cashier or customer service experience is an asset
- Must be clean, organized, responsible, and able to work efficiently
- Able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and maintain food safety standards
- Basic English communication skills required
