Software Developer - Senior - Job Description:
The project involves enhancing the SADIE EMR functionality by adding delegate and designate features and integrating electronic medical record capabilities into the Health Information System (HIS). This initiative is a collaborative effort aimed at optimizing administrative processes for prescribers across Ontario.
Software Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
- Enhance SADIE EMR functionality with new features
- Integrate electronic medical record capabilities into HIS
- Provide programming skills for system enhancements
- Collaborate with Ontario Health, the Ministry of Health, and OntarioMD
- Optimize administrative processes for prescribers
Software Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of IT systems development experience in multi-platform environments
- Advanced knowledge of full-stack multi-tier solutions and system components integration
- Experience leading development teams to deliver enterprise-level IT solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in meeting deadlines
- Ability to acquire knowledge of government strategies and policies
Software Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with public sector projects
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- Knowledge of IT security and privacy standards
- Consulting skills to engage with stakeholders
- Experience with debugging, refactoring, and optimization
