Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and personal style.
- Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of optical products.
- Collaborate with optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services.
- Process orders for lenses and frames, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Provide education on proper eyewear care and maintenance to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optical setting or as an Optician is preferred.
- Edging lenses
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care is essential.
- Laboratory experience is a plus, particularly in lens fabrication or repair.
- Strong retail sales skills with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
- Retail management experience is beneficial for overseeing daily operations and staff training.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
