We are seeking a dependable and people-focused Human Resources Manager to help support our employees, strengthen our workplace culture, and assist with the daily needs of our growing team.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be approachable, organized, trustworthy, and professional. This person should enjoy working with people, be confident handling sensitive employee matters, and be able to balance compassion with consistency.
This role requires someone who can communicate well, maintain confidentiality, support company policies, plan employee events, and help create a positive and respectful workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a helpful and professional point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
- Support hiring, onboarding, orientation, employee documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with maintaining employee files, HR forms, policies, attendance records, and other confidential information.
- Help communicate and uphold company policies, procedures, workplace expectations, and standards of conduct.
- Work with managers and employees to address concerns in a fair, respectful, and consistent manner.
- Promote a positive workplace culture built on respect, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and strong moral values.
- Assist with employee relations matters while remaining reasonable, firm, and professional.
- Plan and coordinate company events, employee appreciation activities, meetings, celebrations, and culture-building initiatives.
- Use Excel and other computer programs to track information, prepare reports, organize data, and support HR processes.
- Assist with payroll, benefits administration, scheduling, training, compliance, or other HR functions as needed.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Support leadership in reinforcing a workplace environment that reflects the company’s values and mission.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Human Resources, administration, office management, employee relations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong people skills with the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfortable enforcing policies and expectations in a fair, consistent, and respectful manner.
- Event planning or employee engagement experience is a plus.
- Ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Must be dependable, honest, professional, and aligned with a workplace culture built on ethics, respect, accountability, and integrity.
