Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport products to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Assist with moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus
- Excellent moving skills for loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and warehouse work
- Ability to work independently, follow safety guidelines, and manage time effectively
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
