Seasonal Summer Position | $25/hour
Are you passionate about music, creativity, and helping children have an unforgettable summer experience? On The Off Beat Music School is seeking an energetic and engaging Camp Leader to join our Taylor Swift Summer Camp team.
This unique music camp is designed for children ages 6–9 who love singing, performing, crafting, dancing, and expressing themselves through music. Throughout the week, campers explore Taylor Swift-inspired activities, learn songs, try musical instruments, participate in group games, and work together toward a fun end-of-camp performance.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with children, brings positive energy to every day, and can help create a welcoming environment where campers feel encouraged, included, and excited to participate.
Camp Sessions
- July 13–17, 2026
- July 20–24, 2026
Camp Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Guide and supervise campers throughout daily activities
- Assist with singing, music, rhythm, and beginner instrument activities
- Help facilitate crafts, games, team-building exercises, and outdoor play
- Support campers as they develop confidence and performance skills
- Work alongside music and dance instructors during camp programming
- Assist with rehearsals and preparation for the final showcase
- Help manage daily transitions, snack and lunch periods, setup, and cleanup
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive camp atmosphere
Ideal Candidates Will Have
- Experience working with children in camps, schools, childcare programs, or similar environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and ability to lead with enthusiasm
- Reliability, organization, and teamwork skills
- Musical, dance, theatre, or performance experience (an asset)
- Education or experience in child development or early childhood education (an asset)
