Clinical Social Worker (Youth Mental Health – Stabilization)

Are you a passionate Clinical Social Worker who believes in the power of connection, regulation, and healing? At Capital Family Services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our interdisciplinary team supporting youth and young adults in a specialized mental health stabilization setting.
This role is rooted in a trauma-informed, trauma-focused, and attachment-based approach, with clinical work guided by the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). You will play a critical role in helping youth build safety, stability, and resilience while working within a collaborative and highly supportive treatment environment.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our clinical team, you will:
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for youth ages 12–18
- Provide ongoing therapeutic intervention and support using trauma-informed and attachment-based practices
- Apply principles of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) in day-to-day clinical work
- Support stabilization through structured, developmentally appropriate interventions
- Collaborate closely with care staff, clinicians, families, and external service providers
- Provide consultation, coaching, and therapeutic guidance to frontline staff
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Minimum five (5) years of professional social work experience
- Registered and in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW)
- Experience supporting youth with complex mental health and developmental needs
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches
Assets
- Training or experience in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)

Pay: $77,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
