Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cashier/Customer Service representatives, available in full-time and part-time roles. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail sales skills, enhance customer service expertise, and work in a dynamic environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with product demos or merchandising are a plus. The role involves engaging with customers, managing transactions, and promoting products effectively.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and pricing
- Support team efforts in maintaining store cleanliness and organization
- Engage in product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of items
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
- Ability to demonstrate technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and sales processes
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills necessary for positive customer interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
Pay: $17.85-$29.63 per hour
