Ranch Camp Cook
The Douglas Lake Cattle Company is pleased to offer a full-time seasonal employment opportunity as a ranch camp cook at our Gang Ranch division. Live and work in one of the most beautiful locations in Canada.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
● Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 6+/- ranch employees at camp
● Ensure kitchen and eating area are clean and sanitized
● Determine food and supply needs
● Control and minimize waste
● Comply with safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
● Must have valid Food Safe Certification
● Must have at least one (1) year cooking experience
● Strong working knowledge of food prep techniques, cooking methods and safety and sanitation practices
● Must have ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
● Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
● Must have valid Driver’s Licence
● Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting and moving frequently
