Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Electrical / General Engineer to contribute to innovative engineering projects, such as an automated Ball Thrower for people with disabilities to play fetch with their dogs. The volunteer position involves supporting design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and mechanical systems, utilizing a broad range of engineering tools and software.

Responsibilities
- Support system design and integration for manufacturing and signal processing applications.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to create detailed schematics and mechanical models.
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, testing procedures, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Support manufacturing processes by applying mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to optimize product design and assembly.
- Experience with Arduino and ESP32 is a plus
- Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in electronics or mechanical systems development is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning new skills is essential.
