IELTS Instructor (Part-Time) – Learning Point

Learning Point is a growing tutoring and academic support centre in Sherwood Park & Edmonton, dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals. We are expanding our programs and are looking for a passionate and experienced IELTS Instructor to help students prepare for the IELTS Academic and General Training exams.
Responsibilities
- Teach IELTS preparation classes for Academic and General Training modules.
- Prepare students for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking sections.
- Assess students' English proficiency and develop personalized learning plans.
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
- Conduct mock IELTS tests and review performance.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Previous experience teaching IELTS, ESL, or English language courses is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Able to manage groups.
Schedule
- Flexible part-time hours.
- Evening and weekend availability preferred.
